Starbucks

Cosy, less crowded Starbucks in front of the big OC Smichov mall. Everything you'd expect from a Starbucks. Outside seatings are great if you don't mind the crowds flowing in and out of the mall.

I am visiting Starbucks on daily basis and it is kinda ritual for me, even more now, with the Christmas drinks. The staff has been always nice, even they had a lot of orders. I am working in customer service and I know that it is not always easy. With the strawless lids and paper straws I also purchased few reusable straws at Starbucks. But since I do not always carry them when I am around the city I sometimes kindly ask for 1 straw and I know that the staff is asked to always told me that it is not needed. Some of them will smile at me or joke with me about it, but this time, staff rolled out her eyes at me and I do not think that it is okay. She was not also happy that I did not know exactly what I wanted and that I need a little help with drink for my friend. The next time with the same staff I did not bother to ask for anything and I do not think that it is the kind of service I am looking for, when I want to enjoy my cup of coffee.

Very accessible as it is just next to tram stop and next to novy smichov mall.

I have been coming here daily for three years The staff have been excellent but unfortunately that changed today on the 27th August 2020. By the way it’s my birthday and we came to have a nice evening in our favorite place. At 21:07 we’re we’re served by a staff by the name of Nyakaa who when my partner asked for a straw said you don’t need a straw it’s a strapless cup of cold Americano. In such a manner that my partner felt intimidated. Other times when we asked for a straw we were directed to the straw holder today when I tried to take a straw this staff member said excuse me u are not allowed to touch the straw and then when I explained she just said no you are not allowed to touch the straw. It’s the worst experience and I felt that this was down right impolite and unprofessional It’s one only because of the behavior of this one staff member all the others are absolutely fantastic and helpful
