Národopisné muzeum Národního muzea

Though it's not big, the collection, as well as the building itself, are very nice and interesting to see. Would strongly appreciate some translation on the description of the pieces (only offered in Czech)

I liked this place strangely. Nothing I can really pinpoint but felt the emphasis was more on the people and folk culture. I liked the film and exhibit on tramping . Now I didn't expect that before I went in . Decent little cafe and as per normal for prague the building itself is very impressive.

Enjoyed seeing all the Christian relics. Unfortunately I do not know of one person whom treated me friendly. I was not in the door one minute before the woman checking tickets ordered me to give her the ticket. I still had my gloves on standing inside the door. When i did get the ticket she snatched it out of my hand and went to the next room. I think there were 3-4 employees watching me. Did they think i did not have the capabilities to go to the desk on my own? People being friendly and smiling would have been nice.

The lady won't let you use the museum's toilet (even asked kindly) if you don't have a ticket. Though the nearest public wc behind the corner is shut.
