not great not terrible

After two years, we moved to Horníkov at a small school in our village. I have nothing against small schools, but it didn't work on ours and we were looking for another one. After half a year in Horníkov, our children (1st and 3rd grade) and we, the parents, are satisfied. The teacher and the school management are people with a great interest in children, and I do not feel that our children are just numbers in a big school. Thanks to various school events, the atmosphere at the school is almost family-friendly. In the classroom, the teachers also take care of the children's good relations with each other. I've seen about a dozen online hours and I can say that I really like the way children learn, it has to be even better live. They don't ring at school and children don't get grades in the 1st grade, it's a modern school, I'd say. English, which I was very interested in personally, is a lot about conversation and songs that complement exercises in textbooks and workbooks, so I imagine it should look like it. The main means of communication and organization between the school and parents is the Edookit application on the Internet. I have it installed on my phone and I will find all the news from the school there. In it, we can write to the teachers, who react quickly. In an acute situation, the teacher called me. When class meetings were not possible at school, they were online. Communication and organization works perfectly. Due to its size, the school offers a large number of clubs, such as ceramics, reading clubs, athletics, judo, foreign languages. When we were in small school, I had to transport children to other places between the circles.

Above-average sports facilities, an active student parliament and an amazing teaching staff are just some of the first, and most prominent, elements of this school. It sounds like sales, but I don't think I would find anything worthy of negative criticism at this school. From the point of view of a former student, I can only warmly recommend it.
