Nedvědice railway station, renovated 2019, starting point for the nearby castle Pernštejn and several possible directions for trips in the Highlands.
On June 23, 1905, the company Místní dráha Německý Brod - Žďár opened a line from the old railway station in Žďár nad Sázavou, where it led the railway in 1898, to Tišnov, from where it was possible to continue along the existing line from 1885 to Brno. The construction of the line was started on June 30, 1903. The newly built railway station was created here according to a standardized building model. The transport on the line was provided by the company Imperial-Royal State Railways. After 1918, the Czechoslovak State Railways took over the operation. The track was nationalized in 1925.
In 1938, the Ministry of Railways issued a decision on the construction of a new railway connection from Havlíčkův Brod to Brno. Operation on the new line was started on December 5, 1953. The line from Žďár via Nové Město to Tišnov was preserved for local service. The track is under No. 256.
The toilets at the Nedvědice Railway Station do not look twice as representative, considering that thousands of tourists are coming here via ČD, paying fares.
