Church of Saint John the Baptist

A beautiful historical monument right in the center of the city that should not miss your attention! ❤️

On the site of today's church built at the end of the 15th century became a Romanesque church in 1240. From the end of the 15th century comes the church fortifications with bastions, loopholes and a large fortification tower. Four unique bells are unique. The original Romanesque church left only the perimeter masonry of the ship. In the construction of the new Gothic church, a separate church fortification was built, so that a unique fortification sacral architecture was created. The church fortress complex is a unique building monument. That was something of history. For me it is very nice and a special church is worth stopping here
