Kaple svatého Rocha

Beautiful, quiet place with seating, information tsbulemi. About 200 meters is a playground. What's worse is that the land about 250 meters from the chapel is subdivided and it is only a matter of time before construction begins on them.

St. Roch's Chapel is a neo-Romanesque chapel dating from 1901, standing on a hill called the Cross Hill (Kreuzberg), on the southern edge of Hustopeče. St. Roch's Chapel is a one-nave building of octagonal ground plan. On the eastern side, it is followed by an apse, to which the quadrilateral sacristy and the depositary adjoin. Rectangular chapels follow the north and south sides of the ship. The entrance to the chapel on the western side consists of a hanging portico. The facade is made of gray and plastered masonry with neo-Romanesque elements. The windows are filled with stained-glass windows designed by Ludvík Kolek. The interior equipment (table, ambon, tabernacle, wall graphics) also comes from Ludvík Kolek.

Location nice, not remote from the city. Beautiful walk through the castan alley. Too bad you can't look inside. At least there is an information sign.

It was not open, the environment was not very lively. The fenced relaxation zone was fine, there was no shadow on a hot day

A very nice place to relax and escape from the bustle of the city into the countryside :-) We enjoyed in the relaxation zone of unconventional tasks that have prepared for us and really great :-)
