Javorná - kaple sv. Anny

We walked around the chapel as we walked along the Javorna Valley Nature Trail. This trail is accessible from the blue of Ondrejovice. Even in winter it was a pleasant walk in the tranquil countryside, on the way we met a couple of snakes.

St Anna's Chapel is a true gem in this valley. Beautiful location, almost hidden in the forest. A great place to enjoy the local tranquility and relax. Nearby is a covered picnic area, so you can take a break. The information panel is unfortunately only in Czech, which I do not understand. Czechs, Poles and many Germans are on tour in the local border area. I once had the opportunity to be inside the chapel, some of the old photos are there. ~ 200 m further on, at the main path, there is a small path chapel with the image of the hermit Wilhelm von Malavalle. His Hermit Order existed until 1785. Kapkica Św Anny jest prawdziwą perełką w tej dolinie. Leży prawie schowana w tutejszym lesie. Cudne miejsce, by w spokoju się odprężyć lub pomodlić. Tablica informacyjna jest wyłącznie po czesku, cojest irytujące. W końcu w tym przygranicznym region wędrują czy poruszają się turyści tak z Czech jak Polski, ale i Niemiec. Miałem okazję być kiedyś w kaplicy, stąd i zdjęcia wnetrza. 200 m dalej, przy głównej drodze, stoi mini-kaplicza poświęcona eremicie Wilhelmowi z Malavalle. Jego zakon eremicki istniał do 1785 roku. Warto o tym poczytać;)
