Sochařský ateliér Vísky

This inconspicuous village offers a great outdoor art exhibition within an outdoor sculpture studio. The statues were originally carved from linden wood, the maintenance of which proved to be difficult, now it is dominated by Hořice sandstone and the main theme of Bethlehem, which is being supplemented. There is no entrance fee and if you are lucky, you will find artists from work at work

Not far from the church of St. Michael the Archangel was established in 2010 with the support of the village Vísky open-air sculpture studio. The studio is headed by academic sculptor Ludmila Pecková Severová; During the summer holidays, students and graduates of secondary and higher art schools take turns here, creating sculptures with various themes. Originally, work began with wood, later sandstone began to be used. The studio is freely accessible all year round.
