The owner of the “music pub”, as he defines his own business, has rented the building of the former municipal power plant, built in 1909 according to the design of the distinguished Art Nouveau architect Dušan Samo Jurkovič. The interior is stylishly furnished; that is, a style in the sense of a mixture of something that could be called a pleasant junk, but above all still maintaining functionality. The most important (besides the stage for musicians) is the bar, which is equipped with its content very above standard. The owner prefers quality drinks and his life experience in this area is happy to pass on to the younger. In addition to quality spirits, the company offers occasional beer tasting from small breweries; however, the Nachod Hron is the permanent beer flagship of the company. The main thing here is music and everything that happens around the punk style. Important bands of this stream know Boskovice turbine and they like to come back here. It is clear that this business stands and falls on the owner who is a fan of punk and other alternative directions, not only in music. In this peculiar atmosphere it is surprising that it is possible to eat very well; Mr Boss is a proficient chef. It is nice that when you buy and prepare ossobuco, it does not serve it on a half-empty plate with several decorative splashes of sos, but it makes a fair cream sauce with dumplings and presents its very tasty creation more clearly - veal knee. It is not possible to rate the Turbine club by classical standards. Who would focus on the cleanliness of the toilet, the speed and friendliness of the staff and other attributes that guests of ordinary restaurants watch, would be horrified. However, this establishment is not intended for tourists who want dessert and frappe after dinner. The members of the community meeting here are clearly satisfied and this is the only relevant assessment.
