Melkovské Valley is only accessible at the end of the valley, after the Boskovice dam, in the northern part. At the crossroads, which can be seen in the photo, the hiker and cyclist can turn towards Kořenec, where the windmill and the museum with the memorial plaque of Jiří Pelikán, which was active in the WW2 rebellion, are kept. If we climb the hillside above the right bank of the Bela River, we will reach the ridge road that leads us to Doubrav on the Boskovice border where the Boskovice Trail and the Western Town are located.
The valley is partially flooded by the water of the Boskovice reservoir as a reservoir of drinking water. Furthermore, there is a settlement Melkov, about 10 holiday cottages (local part of the village Okrouhlá). Suitable place for nature walks and cycling.
Beautiful surroundings for trips
