Renowned secondary pedagogical school, has held its level for three generations and is not losing its luster!

The beginnings of pedagogical education in Boskovice date back to September 1, 1950, when the four-year Pedagogical High School for Nursery School Teachers began its activities. Teaching took place in the grammar school building, the boarding school was established in several rooms of the state castle. In 1953 it acquired its permanent premises in the building of the town school in Komenského Street. In the 1970s, the classes of education were transferred from Třebíč, where the Pedagogical School ceased to exist. Since then, the field, together with the field of teaching at kindergartens, has been opened every year. In the 90s of the 20th century, in addition to the existing disciplines, a new field opens with a social focus, educational and humanitarian activities. In the school year 2005/2006, a new field of education was opened - the Pedagogical Lyceum, which is intended for those interested in humanities, foreign languages ​​or education. In January 2009, the Youth Home on Komenského 7 was ceremonially opened, with a capacity of 40 accommodated in double, triple and quadruple rooms with separate sanitary facilities, PC equipment, a hobby center and a study room.
