The older name for the settlement was St. Adalbert - after the local church. The first mention of the place is from 1352, when the settlement belonged to the lords of Lštění. Since the 16th century (1531) it has belonged to the Vimperk estate. The original church of St. Vojtěch built in the second half of the 13th century. The church became a place of pilgrimage. Old pilgrimage banners are preserved in it, which were worn at the head of the procession to St. Adalbert. Crowds of pilgrims came here four times a year: on Easter Monday, on St. Adalbert (April 23), on Pentecost Monday and on the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (August 15). The new church of St. Vojtěch was built in the years 1739 - 1741 according to the plans of the builder A. E. Martinelli. Part of the masonry of the current presbytery with a semicircular cross vault has been preserved from the original Gothic church.

Beautifully repaired church and other spiritual buildings in Lštění. You can also peek through the bars on weekdays. Services are held here. However, it is practically without local people, the village does not have them.
