Lípa Svobody

The people of Vlachov Březí abandoned the grace of liberty on May 1, 1919. Generations from the oldest to the younger met in the newly named square of Freedom. Since then, almost a century old memorial has experienced all the historical revolutions that Vlach's Březí met. Jiří Hrzáň sang under his lime with his Dear Aunt in a legendary film, the first strike in November 1989 could not have other backdrops than her bare branches and the ministers of the first Czech government were also playing with her.
