House tapestries, cultural traditions and crafts

The exhibition disappointed me, almost nothing to see, I was waiting for a house full of tapestries of various ages, those few pieces were a waste of time. However, the guide spoke nicely, interestingly and the restorer kindly answers all questions.

A truly enchanting experience. The guide's interpretation was so true and loving that I was very moved by Mrs. Teinitzer's story. I definitely recommend visiting the exhibition with children, because few people today know how tapestries are actually created.

Amazing museum, especially for those interested in textile techniques. Although we were only 3, the guide gave us a full 1.5 hours and gave exhaustive information on all exhibits. It is great what gold Czech hands can do. We admire and recommend.

It's possible for that price. The guide was nice, he could answer all the questions about creating tapestries. Demonstrations of the royal estates also served him for this, and he was also joined by a restorer who repairs old tapestries. The exhibition is not so interesting, it contains only a few tapestries. Another minus is the ban on photography. But even there we learned some new information.

The tour disappointed me. The guide didn't understand how fast he was chattering, still looking at his watch and chasing us, not allowing us to try anything. Each sentence began with words in speed just tell you. After the tour was over, the cash register was closed, all employees were standing at the City Hall. door and I didn't even look at the souvenirs and I had to get out. And all because only at 12 am the whole building closes for a lunch break. I don't know why the lady sold me the ticket half an hour before noon. If I knew it would turn out, I would only go after lunch. Otherwise, the exposure was half-empty and confused. In the premises (neither in the entrance or at the reception) must not take pictures, probably to show that they have five carpets and two tapestries and want to enter 60CZK.
