Krumlovský mlýn

Great location, very close to the famous castle, right on the Vltava river. The food is not bad-- I liked the Balkan cheese salad and the shshlik, but my wife's duck was very dry and tough. Many tourists try the smoked pig knuckle-- a typical Czech dish. The staff speaks English, since this is a tourist favorite spot. An unpleasant surprise awaited us when we tried to pay with a credit card-- CASH ONLY. There is a tiny, nearly hidden note about it, but we obviously missed it. So beware! A second visit 3 years later proved a bit more successful-- they now take credit cards, and my chicken dish was really delicious.. The staff was overly friendly, but my wife's duck was still dry... ;-(

Was twice in this restaurant. Place is awesome. Inside it looks like a medieval tavern, from the terrase you can look at the castle. When it gets dark, they put candles on the each table. Food is tasty 😍. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Only cash payment! Food and service is nice, there is live music, but we only got to know after we finished that they only accept cash, lucky we had some on us.

Honestly? The starter steak tartare(raw beef) was tasteless and the ribs were like chewing gum, maybe I had a bad luck but definitely not recommend
