A beautiful and slightly different view of Krumlov will come to you if you go to the Chapel along the Stations of the Cross. The place, which was overgrown with nettles a few years ago, has a spiritual dimension again. You can see an exhibition reminiscent of other Stations of the Cross in the Czech Republic, meditate on the repaired chapel in silence or light a candle for your dear deceased. Nice chapel and nice people

The chapel is open only on weekends, but even if it is closed, the hike is worth it.

A gorgeous chapel above the city, which can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes from the center of Krumlov. From above, the hiker has a view over the Vltava valley and the various parts of the city. The interior of the church reveals an intensive use by the local community. Unfortunately, the chapel is structurally in an imperfect state, of the baroque crucifixion group, for example, only fragments have been preserved. Also the church space in the middle of the complex needs a renovation. Especially for people who are looking for the traces of baroque architecture in the city, the chapel is definitely worth a visit.
