This is the place to sit and drink while waiting for your train. Beer is cheap and aroind noon local people (regulars?) drop in for a mid day beer (or two or three..). Classic style and classic people. Snobs may prefer to go somewhere else!

One of the few places people still smoke inside the pub. Old school local crowd, cheap beer, service is friendly. Dogs welcome.

One of the few classic pubs in the style of the "good old days" in the center of České Budějovice with superb beer and just as wonderfully delicious. The only downside I find is the price of golden juice, which is so good that it forces you to drink more "pieces" than you plan! Last but not least, it is good to mention that various musical groups, different genres, perform regularly here, everyone will come to their own! What to add, sitting in this pub is equal to a cultural experience at the National Theater or a championship match at the cracked Bohemky Stadium, choose! Who wants to be a real sailor, must pour on the Budvar Deck, That's the order of the captain, land rat!
