Boží Muka

According to the folk tradition, the dowels were buried directly on the site, and this monument was erected above their grave. When reconstructing communications in 1940, God's Torture was moved to its present habitat. It is the only urban monument of this kind decorated with paintings. They represent patrons of the Czech country. Their author is the painter Tomáš Peterk from Temelín. The painting restaurant was carried out by the academic painter Klára Šafářová in 1994, on that occasion, God's torture was solemnly re-conceived.
