Hřbitov Jamská

The cemetery is located near the Upper Pond, between the streets Jamská and Novoměstská. As usual, finding any information about it was very difficult. It was probably founded in the first half of the 19th century. Already the entrance gate is beautifully led out, right behind it you can find a bust of Jan Doležal, forester, teacher and writer. The cemetery is situated on an area of ​​less than a hectare, longitudinally divided by a central path lined with trees, which is terminated in the rear, newer part of the cemetery with a large stone cross. We can find here many beautiful tombstones of important families and local personalities, in the southern part there are also several guerrilla graves.
