Milov Basin is a natural area suitable for hiking, in terms of the regional division of the shape of the Earth's surface (geo-relief), the Czech Republic is a geomorphological precinct with an area of 13.48 km² at altitudes of approximately 588-674 m. The valley with the floodplain of the Svratka River is surrounded by the ridges of the neighboring geomorphological districts of the Žďár Hills, in the southwest to northwest of the Devítiskalská vrchovina, in the northeast of Borovský les and from the east to south of the Pohledeckoskalská Highlands. Within the administrative administration, the small northern part of the Milovská kotlina basin is situated in the cadastral territory of the town of Svratka, the central part in the village of Křižánky and the southern part in the small town of Sněžné. Attractive for tourists in the valley with the floodplain of the river Svratka, which along the entire length of the flow through the basin meanders, in the southern part of the nature reserve Meanders of the river Svratka near Milov. In many places there are views of the peaks of the Žďárské Hills around the basin, especially the highest peak of the Nine Rocks, in the view further Křovina, Malinská rock, Suchý kopec, Drátenická rock, Vysoký kopec, Four Sticks, Milovské perničky and others. The history of the landscape below the Four-Steeped Black Rocks (up to 733 m, the peak already in the neighboring natural area Borovský les) is devoted to the Nature Story under the Four Sticks nature trail leading mostly through the Milovská Basin in the cadastral territory of Česká Milovy. The Svratka River, flowing through the valley, forms a natural border between the historical lands, Bohemia (the north-eastern part of the basin) and Moravia (the south-western part). In the Moravian part of Milov is situated Milovský pond with a large recreational resort (hotel Devět skal, pension Last mile, etc.) under Malinská skála (811 m, peak in Devítiskalská vrchovina). Hiking trails marked by the Club of Czech Tourists from the signpost Plaňkovka under the peak Four Sticks, blue to the central part of the village Křižánky and then to the top Nine Rocks (836 m) and green to the meandering Svratka River, continues to Milovský Pond and Drátenická Rock. also green marked trail from Křižánky to the peak Na Čermačkách (722 m), peaks in the area Devítiskalská vrchovina. Above Křižánky, accessible via a dirt road Na Borovině hill (674 m), on the slopes lookout points, prospects also from all marked hiking trails and nature trails, from the center Křižánky leading to the peak Český kopec (711 m) above the Kyšperský pond leads our nature trail Our Trees. In the center of Křižánky there is also a memorable tree of large linden tree near road II / 354 led by Milovská Basin (section Svratka - Křižánky - Milovy). After her area Milovska basin well accessible, in the village bus, groceries, restaurants. Suitable area for skilled cyclists, many forest paths paved. Starting points to Milovská kotlina village Křižánky and settlement location Milovy township Sněžné. Update CZ191209
