Beautiful view, great rest.
Up here on a hill overlooking the cemetery and the whole town below the Ore Mountains, it is hard to believe that this same place was the site of the incredible suffering of tens of thousands of innocent young men.

9,000 of them also found their grave here.
However, not all remains were exhumed and transferred to the mausoleum.
Even this monument was never completely completed. There is no obelisk and eternal fire.
