The Church of St. Stephen is a Roman Catholic branch church in Velký Třebešov, belonging to the parish of Česká Skalice. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. According to the first mention of the village from 1355, the church was a parish church in the Dobruš deanery, it lost its pastor and became a branch church during the Hussite wars. The original Gothic building was extended in the 17th century (the porch is from 1687). A single-nave baroque oriented rectangular building with a pentagonal presbytery, which is a remnant of the original Gothic building and with three armrests. On the north side is a massive prismatic tower and a rectangular sacristy. The nave is flat-ceilinged, the presbytery is vaulted with a cross vault. The inventory is mostly from the second half of the 17th century, the painting on the main altar is from the middle of the 19th century. The stone baptistery dates from the 15th century. Inside the church, nine late Renaissance tombstones have been preserved. Regular services are held on the last Sunday of the month from 3 p.m.
