The cemetery was created by the transfer of remains of Austrian and Prussian soldiers from the Rozkoš Dam. After losing the battle of Austrian troops on June 28, 1866, the Austrians got to Česká Skalice, where they lost again. On July 3, 1866, a battle was struck near Hradec Králové, a battle at Chlum, or a battle at Sadová. The Prussians defeated the Austro-Saxon army. With the number of soldiers deployed, the battle of Hradec is the biggest battle brought to the territory of today's Czech Republic.
Military cemetery built in 1892. About 500 Austrian soldiers are buried in a mass grave. 33 monuments and crosses. It is located on the pedestrian route from Česká Skalica from the railway station by bus towards the cycle route or on foot to Ratibořice, via Zlíč
