Great gate and statues.

If I were to be buried anywhere, I would like for it to be here. The gate at the front is considered to be the most elaborate and beautiful gate in all of Europe. Worth a visit even as a tourist, this place is beautiful

Very nice place tastefully maintained, cemeteries, but here you can contemplate and enjoy the beauty of the decoration of sculptures and sculptures nothing like I would expect here summarized and underlined when visiting Hořice or the surrounding area will certainly not be disappointed👍

Excellent idea to stop here. Neo-Renaissance architecture was designed by professors Bohuslav Moravec and Antonín Cechner, sculptures by Mořic Černil (figure of Angel, church emblems and circular fillings) and Quido Kocián (Art Nouveau sculptures Death and Resurrection on the sides of the portal). The portal is the work of pupils and professors of the Hořice stone school. The portal was built for a total of 14 years, requiring 139,540 stone-sculpture hours of students and their professors, and finally reached a height of 14.5 m. It's really worth it. In nice weather beautiful view of the countryside.

Mystical, breathtaking ..... After visiting the plastic gallery (symbolic entrance fee 30 CZK) a very nice guide told us that you enter the cemetery on the right side, exit on the left, on the contrary it is said to bring misfortune, so we preferred to listen. This breathtaking cemetery is located in the town of Hořice, the place is nicely marked. It is next to the park, where there are statues of Smetana, the whole town is barrier-free, you can see it everywhere. The well-known Hořice tubes are produced here :-) Definitely worth a visit.
