An interesting place with a nice view of the surroundings of Hořice

I never use words like beautiful or nice when evaluating cemeteries. St. Gothard is truly a dignified place, which does not look so depressing compared to some cemeteries. There are nice sculptures everywhere. I especially liked the statue of Jan Žižka from Trocnov

Well, I repaired the church but mainly the facade and the roof but I had a hard injury here fall from the scaffolding of 11 meters but it turned out well but survived and probably all the saints became me

The pilgrimage church was built in the 1st half of the 18th century on the site of an old wooden church from the mid-12th century. It is surrounded by an old cemetery full of magnificent tombstones, showing the art of the local stonecutters, among others a monument commemorating the Battle of Sadovied in 1866. A wonderful place.
