The Church of the Divine Heart of the Lord was built in 1928 in the Neo-Gothic style and served for less than 20 years until the expulsion of the German population. The village Borovnička is first mentioned in 1423, it is a smaller and quieter village than the neighboring Borovnice. It is about 5 km from the castle Pecka, 8 km from the beautiful dam Les Království, zoological garden in Dvur Kralove nad Labem is about 15 km and nearby is also Hospitál Kuks.

Beautiful little churches just off the main road, I recommend to make a short stop and look close to it.
