A regionally widely advertised landmark, and yet poorly maintained--neglected actually--Jewish Cemetery that speaks about the horrors of the past--the suppressed Jewish life in Christian Turnov, which is home to one of the oldest synagogues. Not a very accessible place. Beautiful nevertheless in its significance and grotesk location in between "highways." Worth visiting nand spending some time here.

Interesting place, a short walk from the center 👍

An intriguing place. It is necessary to see being in Turnov. The cemetery itself has impressive matzevot from the last three centuries. Typical and Jewish names, typically German and typically Czech, scroll around. Most often mixed up with each other. You can spend some really nice moments here, because some tombstones are very stylish, Art Nouveau, or Art Deco. It is amazing that over the part of the cemetery there is a viaduct of the main road leading to the city and a part of the matzevot is exactly under it.

Shock that it was allowed to lead the highway over the cemetery (at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s). The part below makes a really weird impression! It is definitely worth visiting this almost 300-year-old Jewish cemetery!
