Not only twenty-eight Holy Steps, but also six painted windows are interesting features of this pretty 18th century church ... These include the Holy Trinity Plague Column with statues of St. Wenceslas, st. John of Nepomuk and St. Adalbert built in 1772.

The church was pleasantly surprising. Inside, there are stairs that, when it goes up to the cradle, will be forgiven for all the crap. The replica of these steps is only found in 5 churches in the guilds

A magical place with a very interesting history associated with Doctor J.J.A. Eleazarem Kittelem, an unforgettable stop for many beautiful excursions from Pěnčín and Jablonec (not only), the place of meeting people at the annual traditional events (the famous Šumburská pilť 19.3., worship, concerts, fair, festivities). The church is situated in the village Jistebsko, which is next to Krásné (formerly called Šumburk) one of several parts of the village of Pěnčín. Nearby is Kittel's Burk, the original residential and healing house of the legendary sorcerer. The building has undergone extensive reconstruction and will soon be ready for tours. The Baroque pilgrimage church of St. Joseph, founded by the famous Doctor Kittel, originally as a chapel, is beautifully restored. There is a unique staircase of the penitents - Holy Stairs with relics of eight saints, after which the penitents can only climb once a year on their knees to repent and seek their conscience here. This wooden staircase was built by Dr.Kittel himself in the original chapel. Undoubtedly, completing the ritual helped heal his patients. There is a spring of healing water near the church, and an ancient faraway stands across the road. The whole area is cleanly and tastefully decorated. Next to the church above the garden, the former Kittell Museum (operated by Kittel with r.o) has a Bosy sidewalk. The whole surrounding and wide surroundings of the church is naturally rich and beautiful, and it is lined with an eye-catching and uplifting history and deserves sensible and dazzling visitors.
