Hotel on the beach

Too many compromises for the privilege of having a room on the beach. Positives. Rooms with beach infront. Sandy beach which is well kept. Natural pond is safe for children. Swimming area in the pond with lots of floating islands for kids to enjoy. Swimming pool. Pedalos included. Friendly staff generally. Negatives. Rooms and bathroom well below 3* standard. Parking an issue. Breakfast not included Room rates are expensive Services limited. Self catering kitchen old and not well equipped for 8 families to use. Basic restaurant menu. We stayed 3 days and loved some aspects of the area as a whole but the price for the stay at this resort is expensive for what's on offer. The prices are 5* and the quality is snack window. There were many occasions when I met the owner and not once did he ask about our stay or actively try to improve our stay. There are lots of places to stay around the pond and this is probably one of the most expensive and least enjoyable. I would rather pay to enter the area than to stay there. Other issues. The food is ridiculously expensive and low to mediocre quality. The resort needs a lot of improvement and I just feel for the staff who try their best to make your stay better. This holiday was one that the kids enjoyed for the activities on the beach but parents would remember for the poor quality of the stay. I would love to promote a Czech family run resort against a soulless international resort but this place is a cash cow for the owner who is milking it for all its worth.

Location and surroundings beautiful. But that's all! Accommodation sufficient even though I imagine something else under the term hotel. Offered services do not match exorbitant prices. There was no hot water for two days. The pizza place was the only place where you could eat / pizza, spaghetti, grilled chicken around 200 CZK and a tasteful /. You won't find other food here! Pedal boats 250 CZK / hour which are in some cases leaky but you will find out when you go to the lake. Free parking is 2 km away, breakfast was canceled by hygiene which we learned on the spot and it is something about the previously mentioned pizzeria. When complaining to the owner who owns the entire area, we did not walk. After all, we paid for accommodation. So I'm definitely not coming back here :-(.

Location and surroundings beautiful, the hotel - but rather the apartment has already behind. Breakfast was canceled without any advance notice. We found out on the spot. ATM is also canceled, the closest is in Doksy. The room quite large, clean and the bathroom was nice, but the equipment very outdated. Kitchen for all common, quite equipped. There is no daily cleaning, which surprised me. I do not recommend to go to the Pizzerie Na Beach to go, overpriced and not much, yeah served on a paper tray. Overall, the site would need more maintenance and investment. But it obviously does not bother the owner ... Next time, we will choose different accommodation options.
