The branch of the museum in Česká Lípa - the Karel Hynek Mácha Memorial is housed in the building of the former hospital from 1669, it hosts an exhibition of the most important Czech poet as well as an exhibition of pond farming and fishing in the Českolipsko region. Upstairs it is possible to stay in double rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Prices per night range from 260 to 350 CZK. Admission to the museum is 30 CZK and 15 CZK discounted. There are two rooms to see everywhere, the expositions already have something behind them, we can't talk about any interactivity, the environment is rather unsuitable for children. Attendance will probably not be very famous. During my short visit, about 5 families came to ask if it was a four-leaf clover museum, one of which entered the museum for five minutes. It is closed from November to March. In April and October it is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9 to 12, 17-17. From May to September open daily except Monday 9-12,14-18.

Great accommodation in an authentic 400-year-old building.

Master Macha would certainly be proud. The museum is housed in the oldest preserved beautiful log cabin in Doksy. The house was built in 1669 by Countess Marie František of Vrtba, the second wife of Kryštof Ferdinand of Heissenstein, a retired man from the manor as a manorial hospital. In front of the museum under the ancient chestnut tree is a statue of St. Prokop dating from 1761. In addition to temporary events and exhibitions, you will also find permanent exhibitions "The Time and Work of K. H. Mácha" and "Fishing and Pond Farming in the Českolipsko Region". The museum also offers cheap accommodation with a capacity of 10 beds (5/2 bed rooms). Master Mácha would certainly be proud of it.
