The construction of the church is connected with the construction of the entire monastery complex, which was built by Albrecht of Wallenstein in 1624. The church itself was built after 1627. The original buildings did not come to Valdštejn because it was in 1634 in Chebuzavražděn. It is not known either the date of completion of the construction or the exact form, because it was partially burned during the great fire of the city in 1631, or another fire in 1664. In April 1700, a new church was built by Earl William Kounice and consecrated on the holiday of All Saints on November 1, 1707. The church had an onion dome that burnt down in 1820 and was not restored. In 1927 he was promoted by Pope Pius XI. Church of All Saints on Basilica Minor.

The basilica stands on the site of the original monastery church, which was heavily damaged by a fire in 1661. In 1700 the construction of the new monastery church began and seven years later it was ordained. The bulb of the tower burnt down in the city's fire in 1820 and was replaced by a temporary riddle that remained until today. The church was promoted to the basilica minor on July 9, 1927, ie the papal church, as indicated by Pope Pius XI. at the entrance to the basilica. The interior features wooden benches, the first two of which are decorated with artistic carvings from the end of the 17th century, and an altar from the 18th century. On the circle are placed organs made in 1848. After their repair in 1940 they have survived in a rare original state and are among the largest and best instruments of their kind in our country. The basilica is still worshiped. The basilica stands on the site of the original monastery church, which was heavily damaged by a fire in 1661.
