The inhabitants of Měrovice nad Hana are proud of their village. The pride also includes the Church of St. Bartholomew. It was built sometime around 1600 and as with similar buildings, it was affected by several disasters. The worst was the 1801 fire that caused extensive damage. Three bells hung by Marie Tomášková-Dytrychová from Brodek u Přerova in 1969 are suspended in the adjacent tower. St. Bartholomew's Church is a state-protected monument and is listed in the State List of Immovable Cultural Monuments.
