Krajinská lékárna

Krajinská lékárna is a historical house on the Upper Square in Olomouc. The three-storey corner house with a mansard roof has a Gothic core and Renaissance and Baroque modifications are still visible. However, its current appearance is due to the last Classical-Empire rebuilding from 1818, which was only slightly modified in 1929. The main side of the house with two entrances to the square has five window axes, while the side towards Ostružnická Street is only biaxial. The ground floor is stone and horizontally bossed, the facade is simple and smooth, the windows are decorated with shafts and cassettes with stucco decor. On the corner of the house there is a relief of a chess eagle. Bishop of Olomouc Marek Khuen (1553 - 1565) was born in this house.

The pharmacy is not just for fun, but mostly out of necessity. But in such an exclusive environment as this Landscaping Pharmacy, even some of the pains will shrink. A look at the building gem that has been here since 1571. The pharmacy was founded by Faustin Prims and you can read some of its successors on the wall. I kind of imagine history in practice.
