Nice building, nice people, but calling the mailroom is a superhuman task.

In the historical building of the former town hall (built in 1532) with wheelchair access from Masaryk Square is now a district court based in Děčín. The building has been protected since 1958 as an immovable cultural monument. The construction contract was awarded to architect Johann Gottfried Gutensohn, apparently thanks to František Thun. According to his project was built the older, northern part, which operates a district court. The building was built in 1871 in a similar style to the southern part of the school. Its author was Gutensohn's successor Bernhard Gruber. It is the most impressive building on the square, with its coat-of-arms under the balcony in front of the town - the Czech two-tailed lion with a crown in a red field holding silver paws. The District Court is housed in a beautiful building where the Town Hall was built in 1532. The present form dates back to 1842, the court has its seat since 1871.
