Nice church interestingly colored. It is definitely a dominant feature of Chrudim Square.

The unique monument and the dominant feature of the town of Chrudim is definitely worth climbing up the stairs. The view is there in a wide area with good visibility, you can also see Sněžka. 👍

Beautiful Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Chrudim. The church is located on the square of the town of Chrudim and at the top of its landmark. I definitely recommend visiting the church, including its towers, which are usually accessible on certain days of the year. The oldest equipment of the church comes from the region of the fourteenth century. Under the church there are also flooded catalogs, which flow under other buildings on Reslov Square.

The three-aisled basilica Gothic church with Romanesque foundations was adapted in the Neo-Gothic style. Already in the time of the Přemyslids in the middle of this center a church. At the beginning of the 14th century it burnt down and during the 15th to 19th century it underwent many modifications to its present form. In the 20th - 21st century, there were no more reconstructions. The oldest church equipment dates back to the 14th century. Another monument is the column of the Transfiguration of the Lord was built after the last plague epidemic in Bohemia. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
