Beautifully renovated church with wheelchair access and wheelchair users. Inside, if you are interested, you can learn something not only about the history of the church, but also the town of Luže and the Košumberk castle.

This beautiful Baroque pilgrimage church of Our Lady Help of Christians in Chlumek was built between 1690 and 1695 by the Italian architect G. B. Alliprandi according to the plan of P. I. Bayer. The founder of the pilgrimage site in Chlumek v Luže was Marie Maxmiliána Eva Terezie, Countess of Žďár (1633 - 1690), married to Jindřich Vilém Slavata of Košumberk († 1654) and later to František Kryštof Hieserl of Chody († 1666).
