It is more a memorial, than a museum. For me it was a must. Where in Europe can you visit a real soviet gulag. Be sure to bring your geiger counter for the uranitite probes. ;-)
10.1.2020 impressive museum about the persecution of political opponents by the Gottvald-Regime,might be a bit more in english,but museums guide did a perfect job and even explained me all in german....the dark impression of the camp was conserved despite the reconstruction!Should be a must-visit for anybody which speaks about "chaotic" democracy and desires "strong state"!!40 CZK entrance fee are a very good investment!

It was closed when I was there, but only from outside looks great.
Very interesting. Only thing that almost everything is explained in Tsjech and very little in English. But really impressive.
