Very nice park!

Quiet place that allows you to disconnect from the monotony and chaos of Prague. From the lift bridge you can go down to the river bank to enjoy some healthy relaxation. The place is large, clean and frequented only by people who are looking for relaxation and therefore noisy. You can take excellent photos from a different view than usual.

Because the Bridge of Legions straddles the Střelecký Island, a popular place for Praguers, a bridge connecting staircase is built from the bridge deck and above the last pillars on both sides there are stone pylons with cupolas, which cover copper and which should serve as a habitat for the bridge collector. Under the paving are buried utilities. The bridge is made up of nine very flat vaults with different spans. Directly above the Střelecký Island, there is a vault from circular segments, the other vaults have an ellipse shape. The bridge is built of granite blocks and at both ends are two towers, which were built to collect tolls. The Legion Bridge was inaugurated on June 14, 1901 and was also attended by Franz Joseph I.

I know who knows how long, there has never been a tram station here. Thank you for understanding

A street leading through Legia Bridge and Strzelecka Island. Offering quite a nice place for recreation and rest (island - elevator downhill from street level), and a phenomenal panorama of Hradčany.
