Obora Soutok

Absolutely unique location with an area of ​​over 4000 ha, which attracts me several times a year to repeat visits to these places. If we move off the bike paths, a real balm for the soul often awaits you in the form of complete peace of the forest with a minimum of people and a maximum of animals. You can usually meet deer, deer, wild boar, pheasants and many other inhabitants .... Attention in the period from 1.2. to 31.3. there is a total ban on entry, due to the protection of pregnant animals and the subsequent upbringing of their young. Additional entry restrictions are only in the evening.

The Soutok Game Reserve with its area of ​​4232 ha is the largest game preserve in the Czech Republic. A large part of the area is made up of floodplain forests and blind branches between the rivers Dyje and Morava or large meadows with solitary oaks. The whole area was fenced in 1971 with a ban on entry, only the military technology of border guards rushed here. Today is an excellent destination for cycling and hiking.
