Hotel U Růže

A wonderful family hotel, with excellent breakfast service. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. For lovers of good wines, this hotel is especially recommended in the heart of a wonderful city.

I stayed here for two nights as part of a group tour. Slavonice certainly isn't on the western tourist route, but if you stay here you won't be disappointed. Paul (the manager/owner?) is awesome. This was such a wonderful place. Customer service is #1. If you like wine, well, you will be in heaven. The town in small, but the hotel sits right on the town square.

We didn't stay in the hotel but the apartment next door. Seemed a very popular place with good food and live music at weekends.

We had a great time, the coffee was great, that was the best room with most comfortable bed I experienced in the Czech Republic, great coffee in the morning, great wine tasting, interesting host who was a great showman, brought the group into the action by having us partake in making a cake.

Charming little hotel in Slavonice, great location and wine tasting
