Gothic church of St. Peter and Paul dates from the mid-14th century. In 1661 it was rebuilt in the Baroque style. Towards the end of the 19th century it was modified in the neo-Romanesque style. The tower was added in 1906.

Probably a Romanesque building used to stand on the site of today's church building. In 1639 the church was damaged by the Swedes, gradually repaired, but today's appearance comes from the Baroque reconstruction in 1765-1767. Above the entrance to the church is a well-visible coat of arms of the Daubek family who lived in the local castle. Behind the church there is a cemetery, in the cemetery wall in the niche chapel there is a statue of st. John of Nepomuk.

According to legend, it is said that the local church was left by Charles IV. to build from the remaining stones after the construction of Karlštejn Castle. A Romanesque chapel or rotunda probably stood on this place before. The church is documented in the second half of the 13th century. In 1639 it was severely damaged and even Swedish troops were housed in it. After the Thirty Years' War, it was repaired and adapted to its current Baroque appearance.
