Great place to visit if you are passing through Prague or even if you are a local

During the tour you will visit the four wings of several united Gothic houses. The halls are dedicated to Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and contemporary art. It is worth mentioning the panel altar of Master Litoměřický from 1500. Everyone can find their own. For me it was several photographs of Adam Holý / 1974-2016 / and of course one Toyenka / Marie Čermínová /. Admission CZK 50. At least one hour

Fantastic genius loci. And when there is an exhibition that respects space, there is no mistake.

The main seat of the gallery is a beautiful burgher house in Michalská Street on plots of two to three smaller Gothic houses, connected by a Renaissance reconstruction, probably from 1569. Fine arts in Litoměřice have been open since 1958. The exhibition is divided into several halls and you will find works by the most important artists of their time from the Litoměřice region and northwestern and northern Bohemia, from the 14th century to the beginning of the 20th century. In addition to long-term exhibitions, temporary exhibitions focusing mainly on contemporary art are presented. Adjacent to the building from the back is a fence delimited by the Gothic city walls. Parkán has been modified to its current form by Václav Cigler and is used seasonally for sculptural exhibitions. The exhibits are located in a four-winged building around a small inner courtyard in Michalská street 7. just a few dozens of meters from the main square.
