Severočeská galerie výtvarného umění v Litoměřicích - Bývalý jezuitský kostel Zvěstování Panny Marie

Since 1992, the building of the Church of the Annunciation of the Virgin has been transferred to the jurisdiction of the gallery of fine arts. It was from this year that short-term exhibitions were regularly held here, as well as various exhibition projects were being implemented. The peculiar atmosphere that prevails in this place, in combination with the works of the modern avant-garde, further enhances the emotional perception. The bright colors of surreal paintings, hung on the shabby gray walls of the church, next to dilapidated altars, involuntarily plunge into the lost world, breaking through with the rays of the sun in this cold twilight. In the summer season, you can visit exhibitions except Mondays: 11: 00-17: 00. The cost of an adult ticket is only CZK 20 (RUB 60). Reduced ticket - 10 CZK (children from 6 years old, students, pensioners, people with disabilities and their accompanying persons). Admission is free for children under 6 years old, the press, ICOM, UHS, RG CR cardholders, students of professional universities and teachers accompanying them.

The former church provides a nice place for exhibitions of paintings. I recommend to visit.
