Třebívlice lies at an altitude of 275 m on the southern edge of the Bohemian Central Mountains, 6 km west of Třebenice, on the Granátka stream. Traditional fruit growing (well-known quality variety of apples called Třebívlický granát). In the past, Czech garnet (pyrop) was mined in the area. Finds from the 9th century testify to Slavic settlement. The first written mention dates from 1318. At that time, Třebívlice was divided among several owners, they had two courtyards and two fortresses. The owners changed quickly.
