The castle and its surroundings are wonderful! I recommend to visit. The roads are not suitable for a pram, although years ago we managed it with an off-road bicycle cart 🙂 Beautiful views, blueberries, cranberries, just great! What was a little spoiling was the clutter in the parking lot. It still amazes me why someone needs to throw pet bottles and other waste in the woods or those napkins everywhere, and you just need to bury them with soil or leaves after making the need! Too bad 🤷‍♀️

We would easily pay for parking. It's free, but the terrain is terrible.

Free parking without any services. Don't leave such a mess behind people !!!

The parking lot is a humped wonder not for off-road. But again, no parking fee. On the other hand, if it was straight and guarded, one would like to pay, after all, it's slow in the woods 😉

There is a covered seating area by the parking lot. The parking area is sandy. When wet, part of the sand in the car ends up ☹️.
