Quarry Hády

Awesome place for a stroll offering some of the best views over Brno and its surroundings. If you go the highest "terrace", there's a path across a small meadow (good for picnics and stuff) to the huge TV antenna sitting atop of the hill. There are no fences or anything which make it better IMO but be careful with kids and dogs.

Good place for a walk - you can take a bus and get off at one side of walking road, and then walk to the other side and take another bus to get home. Nature with all the colors was especially nice in autumn. There are a lot of view sports where people can take nice pictures, as Hády is basically a specific name for former quarry place next to Brno. Sport shoes required.

Nice for quick hiking.

Beautiful view on (almost) whole Brno city. Extraordinary place to just watch the city, nice sky full of stars at night or have picnic there. 100% Recommended

Beautiful view over Brno and the surroundings, and the quarry itself is a very nice view. No fences or restrictions, don't fall off the edge.. ;)
