Where nature is given a helping hand... Gorgeous, beautifully manicured park that even the most confirmed urbanite would fall for. Laid out with a surprisingly English vibe and budding arborists will find the many labelled trees, shrubs, vines, and other perennial woody plants helpful. The restaurant just across the road is especially nice in summer.

The chateau was built in 1608 on the site of a wooden hunting lodge by the owner of the estate, Přemek ze Žerotín. In 1770, Jan Karel of Žerotín had to leave the manor to his creditors, and in 1772 the castle was bought by the Velehrad monastery. In 1774, a chapel was added to the chateau, later extended to a parish church, dedicated to St. Cyril and Methodius, which is decorated with frescoes by the Baroque painter Ignác Raab. In 1944, the estate and the chateau were bought by iron businessmen and railway builders, the Klein brothers, who were promoted to aristocratic status in 1859 for their pioneering merits. They established a nature park with rare trees near the chateau, including a 600-year-old lime tree with a circumference of 730 cm. In the accessible park there is also a neo-Gothic fountain and cast iron statues from the second half of the 19th century during the Sobotín ironworks - St. Florian with the attribute of a bucket and a banner and a statue of St. Elizabeth. The castle is newly renovated.
