The cemetery church of St. Giles in Svihov was founded around 1220 in the Romanesque style. Its present appearance dates back to the Baroque period in the 16th to 18th centuries. Originally a tribune church was part of the oldest Švihov stronghold, documented in the 12th century, which was abandoned in the first half of the 14th century. It is the oldest building in Svihov. Originally a Romanesque church. Jiljí was part of the original Zeman mansion built in the 12th century. In the second half of the 13th century it was extended by a southern rectangular ship. In the middle of the 14th century it was rebuilt in Gothic style. In the first half of the 16th century, the northern and at the end of the 16th century the southern hallway was added. Another reconstruction took place in the 18th century and changed its original character of the Romanesque-Gothic building to its present appearance.
