The Pub Praha 1

The experience is too good and unique to avoid. 1. It is NOT overpriced comparing to most central Prague restaurants. it’s about the same. 2. The fact that you can pour Pilsner Urquell from your table and not wait for a waiter to bring you some is great and super convenient. 3. I checked the counter on the screen from empty glass to the 0.5 mark (pure beer) it showed 0.48L, so I must say it’s exact. No rip-offs 4. Yes the waiter asks you if you want to leave a tip and there are 3 options described on the bill 8, 10 and 12%. It’s up to you to choose 0% if you’re greedy, it’s not included. 5. You can choose a song right from the display on your table (5czk). Plays instantly if no one else’s ordered song is playing. I was there alone and I liked it. 2L Urquell, huge plate of onion rings, goulash with dumplings and 1 song = ~500 CZK. (570 with my tip) 100% recommendaciones :)

It's always a blast. Go there for your Stag/Hen or generally with a group of people. Reserve the table with the Tap so you can tap your own beer at the table. The staff is great and helps the whole atmosphere with good music. Food is good as well.

The beer is good, but I wouldn't go to eat there. I actually disliked the burger they made, there was too much of sauce, and whole pepper. But again, the beer was good

We thought we were going to a normal pub, instead we experienced something more fun, it was a really great suprise. Good service and resonable prices

The location and atmosphere would be ideal would it not be for the staff and the system of payment. The Pub 1 brags about having a system where a person pays for the exact amount that they drank (which you are able to select during the night out) but at the end of the night they suddenly say "impossible to pay individually, whole table has to pay together" which ofc is not exactly true, but they insist on keeping people there for an additional 20-30 minutes so as to solve a problem that would not even exist had the pub stuck to the payment method and rules they originally stated. Definitelly would not recommend Pub 1, please go to other places for beer to not get ripped off
