A lovely little stroll through a park with wondering peacocks quiet and peaceful a stones throw from Charles Bridge.

It is located in Vojanovy sady, which is a very pleasant and quiet place in the very center of Prague. They keep peacocks here. The origin of the Chapel of St. Teresa of Avila can not pinpoint, but according to the monastic chronicles it could be sometime between 1715 and 1743. Neither the author is not exactly known, supposedly it could be Bartolomeo Scotti, who was in the early 18th century builder of the monastery, and also Frantisek Maxmilián Kaňka or František Ignác Prée. The murals inside the chapel, which are also - allegedly - the work of Jan Karel Kovář from 1745, represent scenes from the life of St. Theresa, while painting in the dome is the apotheosis of this holy.

Quiet Abundant Garden Except for the peacocks, the place was established in 1250 as a monastery garden and Eden's corner remains in the heart of the city.
